Head of design

At Loop, were fundamentally rethinking healthcare to empower people to live longer, healthier lives. We are looking for a Head of Design to shape the future of care and insurance products at Loop.

• Own the end-to-end user journey across all of Loops initiatives
• Provide creative, managerial and operational leadership to all of Loops designers and UX researchers
• Plan and drive large initiatives with the help of lead designers
• Work closely with the founders, and heads of product and engineering to shape Loops long term product roadmap
• Foster design-driven innovation by building a strong design culture of experimentation, prototyping and research
• Nurture designers and UX researchers, engage in critiques, and foster studio culture through leading by example.

• A hybrid designer-PM mindset and skillset
• 8 years of experience designing software products
• 4 years of experience leading teams
• At least a few years of experience working on consumer products
• Prior healthcare experience is a plus
• Deep expertise in all parts of digital product design: problem-solving, interaction, interface and visual design
• Solid grasp over UX research and service design
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• An empathetic, caring leader
• Highly organised with strong project and time management skills
• Well educated in design, regardless of whether you went to design school or not
• A craftsperson at heart whos also well-versed in analytical thinking
