Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for wholesale distribution of South Indian food items in the Tri-city area.
  • Identify and onboard new channel partners, distributors, and wholesalers.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets for assigned territory.
Channel & Distribution Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers (hotels, restaurants, caterers, retail outlets, etc.).
  • Monitor distributor performance and ensure consistent product availability.
Team Leadership:
  • Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve business objectives.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions.
Market Intelligence:
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and recommendations.
Logistics & Operations Coordination:
  • Work closely with the central kitchen and logistics team to ensure timely delivery and product quality.
Customer Relationship Management:
  • Address customer queries and resolve issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels.
Desired Skills & Qualifications: Experience:
  • 8 20 years of proven experience in FMCG/Food Beverage sales, channel sales, or distribution sales, preferably in food and beverage.
Leadership:
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a sales team.
Communication:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Negotiation:
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Analytical Skills:
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends.
Adaptability:
  • Willingness to travel within the Tri-city area as required.
